This one started from the drums too, with some idea to have very distinct frequency spaces for every instrument in the song, as well as distinct timings, but inspiration went in a different direction and that idea went out the window.

By the time I was done with the instruments and the arrangement, but before I had any vocals down, I thought I might call it Scheherazade, because that's the vibe it was giving me, but as I was refreshing my memory of 1001 Nights to find inspiration for the lyrics, I found that none of it resonated with me.

The lyrics I did come up with didn't come to mind with a particular theme in mind. I don't know why the second halves of the verses came out so negative, but that's what prompted the song title. :p
