Writing a new song every day can get challenging
I have to keep some standards, I think I'm managing
Avoid sinking to formulas and repetition, I hope
I hope I can avoid it, I hope I can cope

Writing a new song every day can get kinda hard
I have to keep an eye on it in this regard
But I'll do it, because I love it, and it's my job
And it also means I get to twist this cutoff knob
