So I'm back to writing another song-a-day project, but as usual, I have hundreds of worthy stems to write from, so I insist on starting from one of those (and the earlier the better for my OCD on the matter) rather than writing something new from a blank slate.
This song is based on the earliest stem of mine I cared to write from, more specifically, some of the melodic instruments and the hihats here were written way back in December 2003. The rest and the arrangement itself was all done today.
As to the name of the track, while writing it and listening to it, it just screamed "orange" at me, and I knew that had to be part of the name. Hinda suggested Orange Wind and it stuck.
The picture accompanying it is of my lover & Domme (Hinda) cutting the words "I LOVE U" on my flesh for the first time during one of our first dates, nearly half a year ago. :)
